Dr. Novin Sabzevari
Dr. Novin is an energetic, passionate and dynamic dentist. He came to Canada with his family in 2013 and was amongst the only 5% of 2000 internationally trained dentists who participate in the Canadian dental equivalency exams to get certified in less than a year. Dr. Novin enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a keen interest in preventive dentistry, educating patients, wisdom teeth surgeries, gum and bone reconstruction and restoring patients missing or diseased teeth using cutting edge dental implants.
He strongly believes in life-long learning and education and has taken over 500 hours of advanced training in different aspects of dentistry including implant dentistry, bone grafting, wisdom teeth extractions, sedation and pediatric dentistry. He is specially trained to work with patients under anesthesia and sedation and has Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications. He loves helping patients and the community of Stouffville through education and prevention and oversees the operations of an outreach community clinic he setup early in his career that has provided free dentistry to over 4000 patients.
Dr. Novin is an amazing communicator owing to his diverse background – he has spent over 10 years of his life in Iran (where he was born) and another 10 years in India (where his mother is from). He is fluent and proficient in English, Persian, Hindi and Marathi. He visited Stouffville for the first time in February 2015 (on valentine’s day) and fell in love with the city and its people. He has worked as an associate dentist since 2015 in Stouffville, Vaughan, Mississauga, Sudbury, Markham and Newmarket.
He has tremendous experience (as of 2020) having placed and restored 100’s of dental implants, completed over a 100 grafting procedures, performed over 250 root canals, extracted over a 1100 wisdom teeth and successfully treated 767 patients from ages of 2 to 89 years old using various sedation techniques!
He is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Iranian Ontario Dental Association (IODA), International Team for Implantology (ITI), Spear Education Study Club and several other study clubs.
Besides dentistry, he has a strong interest in computers, graphics design, programming, writing, playing tennis and soccer.
Dr. Simina Saber
Dr. Saber went to high school in Richmond Hill and graduated in dentistry from the renowned Victor Babes Dental University in Timisoara, Romania. She is of Romanian and Persian background and is fluent in Romanian, conversant in Spanish and is quickly learning Persian. The first thing people notice about her is her warmth and kindness.
Dr. Saber is passionate about minimally invasive dentistry, preventive dentistry and straightening and aligning teeth with clear aligners and Invisalign(TM). She invests a lot of her time doing continuing education courses and regularly updates her knowledge and skill. She has worked as an associate in downtown Toronto, Brampton, Aurora, Coldwater, Scarborough and Woodbridge and brings her extensive knowledge to Stouffville Smiles.
Dr. Saber is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), International Team for Implantology (ITI) and Spear Education.
She spends a lot of time reading, is a regular at the gym, loves travelling and getting to know different cultures.
Dr. Tracy Liu
Dr. Tracy Liu began her studies in biological sciences at the University of Windsor, Ontario where she was raised before attending the University of Toronto to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Tracy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to growing as a dentist through a variety of continuing education courses and learning from colleagues. She strives for excellence in her patient-centred care and treatment, with the goal of providing the best possible outcome in a comfortable and caring environment.
In her spare time, Tracy enjoys baking, cooking, travelling, and watching movies.
Dr. Chelsea O
Dr. Chelsea O earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree with Honours at the University of Toronto in 2015. During her training, she received the James Gestie Perkin Prize which is a prestigious award given to the student with the highest achievement in the Restorative Dentistry.
Prior to her dental education, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science (H.B.Sc.) degree with High Distinction double majoring in Physiology and Cell & Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto St. George Campus.
She takes pride in treating her patients with excellent chair-side manners, strong ethics and the high-quality clinical care. She continues to refine her clinical skills and knowledge by taking numerous continuing education courses each year.
She strongly believes in providing patients with positive dental experiences. To do so, she strives to provide a calm, gentle and caring approach to make her patients feel more at ease and enjoy their dental appointment regardless of the type of dental treatment.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves cooking, jogging and reading books.
Dr. Gino Gizzarelli
Dr. Gino Gizzarelli completed his first degree in 1995 at the University of Toronto in pharmacy. He worked as a full-time clinical pharmacist at Toronto General Hospital for 2 years before returning back to the University of Toronto to study dentistry.
Following his dental degree in 2001, he continued his studies in the same university and completed a 3-year Master’s degree in Dental Anesthesia. During these 3 years, Gino trained in the operating rooms of the Hospital for Sick Children and Toronto East General Hospital. Throughout his studies and until present, Gino has maintained a part-time clinical pharmacist position at Toronto General Hospital.
Dr. Gizzarelli is a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, and the Canadian Academy of Dental Anaesthesia. Dr. Gizzarelli is a diplomat of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a certified specialist in dental anaesthesia (in Ontario). He is an itinerant dentist anesthesiologist and teaches occasionally at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and at various conferences and CE courses.
Fernando received his license to practice denturism in Ontario in 1993. He has since developed very strong relationships with patients and dentists in the area to provide their patients with cutting edge dentures. He loves working and more importantly enjoys building lasting relationships with his patients.
Fernando has a strong passion for fabricating long lasting dentures of the highest quality. He has taken several continuing education courses and is a part of several study clubs to ensure the highest standard of care. He is passionate about using cutting edge implants to help patients enjoy their dentures.
Although his passion for denture care is strong he also loves spending time with his family, traveling and enjoying the outdoors. Fernando also frequently enjoys cycling.

Gisel enjoys being a part of this professional dental team that provides exceptional care. She was born in Columbia where she studied Speech Pathology. After marriage, she moved to Florida and then to Canada.
Gisel is a friendly and energetic person who loves working closely with patients, she always finds ways to give them a great experience and help them build that confidence to share their smile. She is passionate about helping patients understand treatment and since being a part of Stouffville Smiles Dentistry has helped a staggering number of patients overcome their financial and fears to accept necessary treatment.
Gisel loves helping patients and is always happy to answer your questions, plan appointments and help resolve any issues, while making your visit positive!
In her spare time, Gisel loves spending time with her family and also enjoys being a soccer mom.
Stefanie is a graduate from Dental Reception and Administration as well as Dental Assisting levels I & II and Dental Hygiene at the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene. Originally from Ottawa, Stefanie moved to the Toronto area for school and is now currently loving living in Stouffville.
She is very detail oriented and patient making everybody feel comfortable and at home in the office. Stefanie also loves learning and continuing her education and is also very interested in teaching one of her soon to be three graduated programs.
She is currently a member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association and has student memberships with the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association and the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.
In her spare time Stefanie loves to play hockey, soccer , golf and various other sports. She also is an avid animal lover and loves being outdoors. One of her favourite pass times of all is food, she’s always trying new restaurants and foods of all kinds.
Shirley completed an Honours Bachelor of Science (H.BSc) degree from McMaster University before studying and graduating at the top of her class in Dental Hygiene at George Brown College.
She is kind hearted, has a gentle but thorough touch, and loves helping patients reach their optimal oral health through education and prevention. Shirley also participated in a dental outreach program abroad in Jamaica with Nine Miles of Smiles (NMS) to increase access to dental care and education in marginalized communities.
Currently, Shirley is an active member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) and Ontario Dental Hygienists Association (ODHA). She regularly updates her knowledge and skill through continuing education, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Shirley speaks some Cantonese and understands Mandarin!
Outside of the office, Shirley is an adrenaline junkie, loves to travel and loves being outdoors. She’s been on the CN Tower Edgewalk, skydiving and scuba diving. You will also find her at the gym, dragonboating, cycling and playing softball.
Sasika completed Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Toronto in 2009 and Dental hygiene diploma at Durham College in 2011.
She enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, adventures and cuisines. She spends most weekends visiting my family in Markham, spending time with friends, and walking trails with my husband and American bulldog Nicky. She, also, enjoys attending concerts and live entertainment.
Sasika is an active member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists’ Association (CDHA). She stays up to date with current practices by completing continuing education courses on a regular basis. I’m passionate about educating and helping to improve my patients’ oral health and is fluent in Tamil.
Natalya has worked in the field of dentistry since 1996. She received her Bachelor of Dental Science in 1996 with Honours in Periodontology and Orthodontics. In 2008 she graduated from Oxford College with a diploma in Dental Hygiene with Honours.
Natalya is passionate about advancing her expertise in dentistry to bring excellence and care to her patients. She is an active member of the Dental Study Club, CDHO and CDHA.
Natalya is well known for treating clients with dental anxieties and fear towards dental treatment. With her warm smile and gentle hands, she creates a comfortable and rewarding dental experience. She can turn around those who shy away from a dental visit to looking forward to coming back.
Natalya enjoys getting to know her clients individually to provide high quality dental care to their needs.
When Natalya is away form the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, being active and being social with her friends and family.
Sydney graduated from Durham in June 2018 from Durham college as a Dental Assistant level I and II. She is our youngest member of the team. She is very kind hearted and passionate about her work.
She started as a receptionist at Stouffville Smiles but quickly went on to become a registered dental assistant. She is passionate about coordinating the patient’s care and assisting the dentists with various complex surgical procedures. She loves meeting new people and helping them.
She loves sports and being outside, she has been playing softball for 5 years in Durham region. When she’s not at the office she’s either playing softball or playing with her dog Dude.
Bahar graduated from Oxford college in Toronto in November 2015 as a Dental Assistant level l and ll . Member of ODAA . She really enjoys her job and is motivated to learn more. Bahar is very passionate about providing excellent care to patients.
Children and animals are very important to her and she spends most of her time with her daughters and their dogs. Being kind and helpful are two things she always keeps in mind.
Ilona is one of the youngest members of our team. She graduated from dental assisting college in 2018 and has been working as an assistant and receptionist since. She is passionate about providing excellent care to patients.
At Stouffville Smiles, she works both as a patient care coordinator and a dental assistant to help our dentists and specialists.
She is loves helping our patients with their financial decisions and investments towards a healthier mouth and is quickly learning various treatments to become a treatment coordinator at Stouffville Smiles Dentistry.
Isabella completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Forensic Psychology and Criminology in 2019 at Ontario Tech University. She is one of our newest members of our team and has entered the field of Dentistry recently. Isabella has grown to be passionate about expanding her knowledge on this new chapter of her life.
She is kindhearted and has a bright personality, she enjoys interacting with our patients and making sure they have a great experience.
Isabella was born in Colombia and moved to Canada when she was 9, she is fluent in Spanish. Outside of the office Isabella enjoys cooking, baking, and travelling. She loves attending concerts and experiencing new adventures with her friends and family.
Romina is currently studying at the University of Western Ontario. She will soon graduate with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences and a Minor in French Studies. She is an active member of the pre-dental club at school and aspires to one day become a dentist.
She is very passionate about helping our patients and strives to provide everyone with the best experience possible. Romina truly understands the importance of oral health and is always looking to demonstrate this to everyone. She loves making connections with those around her and learning new things excites her.
She can speak English, Persian, and is actively learning French. Romina comes off as a friendly person because she loves to meet new people. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, going on walks with her dogs and discovering new TV shows to watch. Romina is always willing to take on new volunteer opportunities within her community. She is happy to be part of our growing dental family!
Krysta is currently in her last year at Durham College for Dental Hygiene. She is really passionate about dental care and motivating others about oral hygiene. She loves working with children and teaching them good oral hygiene habits. After she graduates, she intends to continue schooling to become a restorative dental hygienist.
It’s very important to her that she makes sure people have good experiences when it comes to dental care and is excited to share her passion with others.
In her spare time, she loves to garden and collect different types plants, discover new tv shows, spend time with her family, friends and dogs and is also learning to be fluent in Finnish as it is her background heritage.
Kyra has completed her Bachelor in Human Health Sciences in 2019 at Ontario Tech University. She has shadowed in multiple dental clinics and volunteered with schools across GTA to promote oral care to preschool and toddlers. She loves interacting with children.
She was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada when she was 8. She can speak Tagalog and understand Kapampangan.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and decorating with flowers. She aspires to pursue dentistry in the next few years. At this time, she is happy to get to know the people of her local community as a team member at Stouffville Smiles.
